SAP Final Report

1 week before the live run… everyone is working hard to make sure a smooth live run… must be weird why I on the msn until midnight… I’m on office everyday until midnight… no kidding… SAP team also the same… work until early morning…

I still can’t believe it… We manage to a direct system changeover.. that right.. not phased.. not parallel.. 100% direct changeover from current ERP to SAP… with no breakdown… this is amazing because not much company dare to do it… most company that do it will suffer system breakdown.. cannot use.. got problem…

Outsider claims that it is impossible to get SAP up and running in 2 month because it is complicated and need around 1 year to implement… honestly… we don’t have much experience implementing SAP but we manage to did it on very short time frame…

How we do it?? Hmm.. look out for “SAP 6550 – Behind the Scene” which will be publish it this few weeks…

Anyway I was glad that the management agreed with direct changeover... we had insufficient manpower so do parallel changeover is really tiring… and we had implement other small system (e.g. Service Warranty System) so phased changeover also caused a lot of problem…

That is the risk that we need to take… even though it running without breakdown… we facing some hiccup on the interface with barcode scanning system that develop in just one and a half week… it is understandable because we don’t have much time to do testing and don’t have much experience in doing interface with other system.. the team had done interface before on europe countries but it is not as complicated as this one…

After live run it is like everyone is getting lazy.. not as hardworking before the live run… relaklah brother.. everything is running smoothly what.. hehe..

So SAP is finally go live..

asia television awards best drama series.. a must watch television drama series.. i been naughty cabut from office and go back just to watch it.. (i'm wasting 1 hour of the day for it.. it really worth it..) i never saw such a unique storyline like this before.. it about Bok-Ku (rain) wants to revenge on Eun-Suk so he pretend he fall-in love with Eun-Suk then dump her make her feel very very sad.. now the movie very kan jion liao ler.. hehe.. don't miss it lor..

we damn left behind..

sometime when i want to heard a high bandwidth internet radio or watch a streaming video i feel like want to throw the modem away.. damn lagging.. people from other country singapore.. taiwan.. hong kong etc.. won't have this kind of problem.. ya.. i subscribe to the 1mbps package but i rarely got the 1mbps connection.. shame on you TM.. you damn *****.. we got all this putrajaya.. cyberjaya.. msc etc.. stuff but when other people from other country came.. they sure will complain.. veerrry sssllllloooowwwwwww...... damn frustrating..

when i work in previous company.. sometimes i need to go to port klang.. got 1 day i meet with this interesting man..

iPhone?

I always hope that one day Apple will come out their own phone with iTunes program inside.. (so i can throw away my Sony Erisson phone) Guess what.. Finally in Year 2007 they come up with iPhone.. Video iPod + Phone + Web / E-mail Browser.. another breakthrough product from Apple since iPod which change the whole portable music player industry.. and once again Apple is going to change the mobile phone industry with iPhone.. i just watch Steve Jobs iPhone keynote on Apple website.. it is a very awesome smartphone.. i think everyone with start throwing their smartphone already.. (just kidding) Unlike other smartphone that runs on Symbian or PocketPC.. This one runs on Mac OS X.. wow.. it is the world's most advanced smart phone.. just like Mac OS X - the world most advanced Operating System.. too bad it only will reach the Asia market in 2008 so watch out for it...

能到这边其实不容易 …看看一下朋友最近的事业情况，觉得最成功的应该是我吧…23岁已经在大公司做IT老板，外面还用很多IT毕业生找不到IT工。应该要高兴一点吧，虽然有经过一些很苦的事情…有经过很多人的欺负…苦的事情会再来的…欺负的人不会消失的（除非老板炒鱿鱼他们）…不然这样…要保持微笑…事业成功了可是恋爱呢…啊…我还在努力着…

to unemployed IT grads..

A lot of people study IT but fall to get into the IT line.. To get hired you must be very good.. very good.. If you study IT because IT is the "in" thing then you take the wrong course.. Actually I found out that people that either have these criteria will usually get hired.. No.1 : Live in IT background.. No.2 : Have high interest in IT (just like me).. Example? Ok.. I have 1 college fren who his parent both work in IT background and since he was young he saw his parent messing around with the computer and he learned from it.. (It is quite scary to stick with him because he is a very good hacker.. i don't want him to hack my e-mails..) Another example.. My ex-colleague (My Sifu) his house have 3 PCs.. so when he was young he always messing around with networking and cause him to become very good in networking.. i learned a lot of networking stuff from him and he curi some knowledge from me (come-on lah).. It is not easy to get here..
